There were a lot of great movies that came out in theaters in 2012! Fortunately, I was lucky enough to see several of these movies and from them I have devised a list of my favorite movies of that year.
Here are my top 5:
1. The Avengers- The Avengers was simply an amazing movie for me. It had a great mix of action and comedy and the plot was really good. This movie was perfect in my opinion and it is the #1 movie of 2012 for me.
2. The Hobbit- The Hobbit is an enriching story that has great similarity with the book. I think the directors of this movie did a great job with this and I believe that it deserves the #2 spot.
3. Ted- This movie is filled with crude humor throughout and I enjoyed every bit of it. This movie has a simple plot, but the way that the movie is put together is brilliant and funny.
4. The Cabin in the Woods- This movie was labeled as a horror film, but I beg to differ. This movie had a good plot and a wonderful mix of comedy and suspense. This movie might not have been that scary, but it was very enjoyable.
5. Chronicle- Chronicle was a very enjoyable movie that has a simple, serious plot that shows how people can abuse power. It was a very touching movie that'll have you watching it again soon.
Some other movies that are worth mentioning are Project X, The Dark Knight Rises, and The Amazing Spiderman.
