Using Internet resources too much?....

Using internet resources, such as sparknotes, is a very popular trend for students. It allows us to gather information that we need at a much faster pace when compared to the possible alternatives. There are times, however, when we take this resource and abuse it. Using sparknotes isn't particularly harmful when you are trying to gather small information, but when you start relying on sparknotes for all the answers is when it starts to hurt you. Relying on Internet sources to do your work for you is counterproductive to your education, you are not learning the small details that are necessary for most assignments. You are also hurting yourself when you begin to take tests/quizzes. Relying on these sources, especially copy-paste, will often be known by the teacher and your grade will be affected because of it.
Some students know that relying on these resources will hurt them, so why so they sometimes continue to do it? I think some people rely on these resources simply because they want to get it done. This rush could have been due to procrastination or lack of time to prepare.
Using online resources should always be monitored. You need to learn what kind of information you can rely on and which ones you can't. Don't plagiarize!
